January We left 2000 with a problem - No airport but the land is still owned by the Federal Government purchased with our money, taxpayers money. "Airport Canned for now" No decision till 2005 1. We now have the land at Badgerys Creek locked up or frozen for future use - still owned by the Federal Government. 2. The Fast Rail or "very fast train" has been killed off. 3. Kingsford Smith to be expanded by taking larger jets. 4. Bankstown airport to be expanded to take larger jets. The whole Sydney Basin is an environmental disaster. |
